Cavemen is a new sitcom on ABC based on the popular series of GEICO cavemen commercials. What could be better than a thirty-minute show based on a thirty-second commercial? In the world of Cavemen, Neanderthals have survived in remote communities. Contrary to popular belief, they are just as intelligent and capable as homo sapiens. After thousands of years of isolation, groups of adventurous cavemen are now moving into normal society. Cavemen follows the misadventures of three cavemen who move into an apartment in San Diego and fight prejudices against Neanderthal-Americans. Joel (Bill English) is a young caveman who enjoys his job and has a beautiful girlfriend named Kate (Kaitlin Doubleday, Accepted). He lives with his happy-go-lucky younger brother Andy (Sam Huntington, Superman Returns) and his cynical friend Nick (Nick Kroll, Best Week Ever).
