Cashing in on the new nerd chic trend ushered in by the success of movies like Knocked Up and TV shows like The Office, CBS is launching a new sitcom called The Big Bang Theory. Johnny Galecki from TV's Roseanne plays Leonard and Jim Parson from The Garden State plays Sheldon, two brainy roommates. Both Leonard and Sheldon are brainy geniuses who understand the complicated workings of the universe and the ins and outs of particle physics, but there's one thing they don't have the slightest clue about: women. This all changes when the beautiful Penny moves in next door, played by Kaley Cuoco from 8 Simple Rules. She's gorgeous, charming, and just getting out of a long term relationship. And it's up to her to teach Leonard and Sheldon a few things about the opposite sex.
