Duel is an exciting week-long event from ABC that combines the trivia appeal of Who Wants to be a Millionaire with the extended suspense of World Series of Poker. This special game show event premieres Monday, Dec. 17th at 8 PM and runs every night of the week as the competition progresses. Duel is hosted by popular sports personality Mike Greenberg, host of Sportscenter and Mike and Mike in the Morning, and follows 20 contests as they duke it out in a trivia competition. Each contestant has 10 chips worth $5,000 a piece. Two contestants enter a trivia duel, and each person places chips on as many answers as they want. Chips that aren't on correct answers get taken by the house and put into the final jackpot. Each duel eliminates a contestant, and by Friday night only four contestants remain. Those four enter the ultra high-pressure final round on Saturday, Dec. 23rd to compete for the enormous jackpot.

Duel premieres on Monday Dec. 17th, with subsequent episodes on 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st, and the finale airs on Saturday Dec. 22nd.
