Burn Notice, the USA Network's latest original series, is turning up the heat in the spy genre with Jeffrey Donovan starring as Michael Westen, a high profile international spy who is suddenly blacklisted. He finds himself stuck in Miami with no money, no resources, and no way out. He employs the help of his trigger-happy ex-girlfriend Fiona (Gabrielle Anwar, The Tudors), washed-up military intelligence contact Sam Axe (Bruce Campbell, Spider-Man) who happens to be reporting Michael's actions to the FBI, and even his overbearing, guilt-tripping mother Madeline (Sharon Gless, Queer as Folk). With a soft spot for the little guy, Michael takes any investigative job he can get while he tries to figure out who blacklisted him and why.
