Bones is a thrilling one-hour drama that blends forensic whodunnit with strong character-driven drama and a dose of quirky comedy. Loosely based on the life of forensic anthropologist and author Kathy Reichs, Bones follows renowned forensic anthropologist Dr. Temperance Brennan who is recruited by cocky FBI agent Seeley Booth to help him solve unsolved crimes with the bones of long-dead bodies. Each episode Dr. Temperance Brennan and her team of "squints" (scientifically advanced specialists) use their advanced knowledge of anthropology, forensics, and human anatomy to unravel the case. When not solving crimes, the socially unaware and occasionally frigid Dr. Temperance Brennan butts heads with the brass Seeley Booth. Their sexual tension makes them the steamiest not-quite couple around.
