Sex and the City

Sex and the City is HBO's hit series about four single women in their 30s and 40s whose friendship is the only thing that remains constant in the ever-changing city of New York. As they move from career to career and man to man, they rely on each other for laughter, support, and some good old girl talk to get them through the rough times. The all-star cast includes Sarah Jessica Parker as quirky but lovable Carrie Bradshaw, Cynthia Nixon as Miranda Hobbes, a Harvard-educated lawyer who refuses to settle for anything but the best, Kristin Davis as romantic and eternally optimistic Charlotte York, and Kim Cattrall as Samantha Jones, a brash man-eater who shrugs off commitment and welcomes one night stands. Over six seasons, Sex and the City follows the four women's search for happiness and love as they embrace growing older and wiser in the city that never sleeps.
