Saturday Night Live (SNL) is NBC's long-running sketch comedy and variety show, and since its premiere in 1975, the show has won 20 Emmys. Saturday Night Live features celebrity guest hosts for each show, which in recent years have included high-profile Hollywood stars such as Lindsay Lohan, Steve Carell, Scarlett Johansson, and Shia LaBoeuf. Comedy sketches make up most of the show, and some Saturday Night Live sketches have actually been the inspiration for several hit movies, including The Blues Brothers, Wayne's World, and Office Space! Saturday Night Live has also shot several completely unknown actors into stardom, including Bill Murray (Broken Flowers), Ben Stiller (Zoolander), Adam Sandler (Reign Over Me), Will Ferrell (Stranger Than Fiction), and Tina Fey (Mean Girls)!
