Law & Order: Criminal Intent is one of the newest members of the Law & Order franchise. It explores the mind of criminals as the investigating officers use a psychological approach to catching their criminals. The show follows the Major Case Squad, which is comprised of two teams of investigating officers. Long-time partners Detectives Robert Goren (The Cell star Vincent D'Onofrio) and Alexandra Eames (Oz's Kathryn Erbe) work well together. His criminal genius, interrogation skills, and well-honed instincts blend perfectly with her fierce independence, sharp tongue, and investigative skills. The second squad is comprised of Law & Order alum Detective Mike Logan (Sex and the City's Chris Noth) and his new partner Detective Megan Wheeler (Little Black Book star Julianne Nicholson). The cast is rounded out by Eric Bogosian who plays Captain Ross and who has just been rewarded the Major Case Squad after heading a successful three-year Joint Task Force on International Money Laundering. Each episode ventures deep into the criminal psyche while providing the whodunit Sherlock Holmes detective work that makes Law & Order: Criminal Intent such a trusted name in drama.
