Grey's Anatomy

Grey's Anatomy follows a group of young surgical residents at Seattle Grace Hospital. The only problem is they're more concerned with their crazy stress-filled love lives than their surgeries. Character Dr. Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) is a diligent hard-working surgeon until her life is turned upside down by the very charming and very married Dr. Derek "McDreamy" Shepherd (Patrick Dempsey). All the while her friend Dr. George O'Malley (T.R. Knight) is in turmoil with his love sickness for her. Dr. Cristina Yang (Sandra Oh) is similarly struggling with her intimacy issues and her failed relationship with her ex-supervisor. Dr. Isobel "Izzie" Stevens (Katherine Heigl) is constantly struggling with relationships including a love/hate situation with jerky intern Dr. Alex Karev (Justin Chambers). Writer/Creator Shonda Rhimes has proven herself to be an accomplished hit maker in television with the success of this Emmy nominated medical drama that has just the right hint of soap opera sultriness.
