Shark is a legal drama on CBS that focuses on the defense side of legal dramas. James Woods (John Carpenter's Vampires) stars as Sebastian Stark, a ruthless and underhanded defense attorney hated by Los Angeles District Attorneys office. Sebastian is cocky and unscrupulous, but after he unexpectedly loses a high-profile case, he has a realization about his life. To make up for his sins, he becomes a prosecutor and joins the L.A. District Attorneys office. He is forced to work under his former nemesis, D.A. Jessica Devlin (Jeri Ryan, Boston Public), who still hates his guts, and assigns him the thankless job of managing junior attorneys. Even though Stark is no longer a defense attorney, he approaches working for the prosecution with the same unethical "brass-knuckle" techniques as before. He trains the next generation of D.A.s to be as Shark-like as him. His team includes arrogant Casey Woodland (Sam page, Point Pleasant), brainy Raina Troy (Sophina Brown, Chappelle's Show), and Martin Allende (Alexis Cruz, Touched by an Angel), an intellectual from the wrong side of the tracks.
