Criminal Minds focuses on the FBI's Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU), an elite team of FBI profilers whose job is to get inside the heads of the nation's most complicated criminals and stop them from committing future crimes. The BAU is led by Aaron Hotchner (Thomas Gibson, Dharma and Greg), who is especially gifted at getting people to open up their darkest secrets to him. His team includes privileged daddy's girl Emily Prentiss (Paget Brewster, Andy Richter Controls the Universe), obsessional crime expert Derek Morgan (Shemar Moore, The Young and the Restless, and social misfit but intellectual genius Spencer Reid (Matthew Grey Gublar, RV).
