Ross Schuler Thomas (born August 21, 1981) is an
American film and
television actor who currently has the regular
role of Bailey Reese on the
teen drama television series
Beyond the Break.
Biography
Early life
Thomas was born in
Stockton,
California. He graduated from the
University of Southern California in 2005 with a
Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts. Thomas later moved to
Los Angeles to pursue a career in film and television.
Career
After many attempts and auditions, Thomas landed a role and currently stars in the show
Beyond the Break (a series on
The N). Other film credits include the critically acclaimed title role of Seth in the
independent film What's Bugging Seth. A winner of numerous film festival awards,
What's Bugging Seth is the story of a young
deaf man trying to
start his own business while facing all of life's obstacles that can be expected to be encountered by a
person with a disability. Additionally, Ross starred opposite Lesly Jordan in the independent
dark comedy Sissy French Fry, which was also a film festival winner. He received more fame when he participated in the
American Pie Presents: The Naked Mile movie as one of the main characters Ryan Grimm. He co-starred in
The Cutting Edge: Going for the Gold, the sequel to the
1992 film
The Cutting Edge as an
extreme sports professional turned
figure skater. Recently, he was able to use his surfing abilities for the movie
Shelter.
