Phil Leeds (April 6, 1916 – August 16, 1998) was a Hollywood character actor.

He was born in 1916 in New York City, the son of a post office clerk.Phil Leeds Biography ((?)-) He started his career as a stand up comedian and then went on to appear in several movies and sitcoms including Rosemary's Baby, Night Court, Wings, Ally McBeal, Everybody Loves Raymond and The Larry Sanders Show, as well as guest appearances in The Patty Duke Show, The Odd Couple, Happy Days, Friends, Mad About You, The Dick Van Dyke Show and The Golden Girls.

Leeds died of pneumonia on August 16, 1998 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. He was 82 years old. The November 9, 1998 episode of Ally McBeal, "Happy Trails," featured footage of his prior appearances on the show, eulogizing his character.
