television series, and is perhaps best known for her roles as Paige Matheson on
Knots Landing and as
Edie Britt on
Desperate Housewives.

Sheridan was born
Colette Sheridan in
Worthing,
West Sussex,
England, the daughter of British actress Sally Sheridan (
née Adams).
