Matthew Mackendree "Matt" Lanter (born April 1, 1983) is an American actor and model best known for his roles as Horace Calloway in the short-lived ABC political drama Commander in Chief and the voice role of Anakin Skywalker in the animated film Star Wars: The Clone Wars and its television counterpart. Matt also recently joined the cast of 90210 as Liam Court, a recurring character in season one, before becoming a series regular from season two onwards.

Life and career

Lanter was born in Massillon, Stark County, Ohio, the son of Joseph "Joe" Lanter and wife Jana Burson.cantonrep.com/index.php?Category=9&ID=428394&r=3&subCategoryID=0 He moved to Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia in 1991 at age 8. He graduated from Collins Hill High School in 2001. He played baseball, football, basketball, gymnastics and golf and was a batboy for the Atlanta Braves. Currently, he attends University of Georgia and is majoring in Sports Business but leaned towards an interest in the film and television industry created a strong desire to pursue acting instead.
