Marcia Gay Harden (born August 14, 1959) is an
American actress. She has appeared in films, television, and the theatre. Harden is a winner of the
Tony Award and the
Academy Award.
Early life
Harden, one of five children, was born in
La Jolla,
San Diego,
California, the daughter of Beverly (
née Bushfield), a housewife, and Thaddeus Harold Harden, a
Texas native who was an officer in the
United States Navy.
