Marc Anthony

Article

Marc Anthony (born Marco Antonio Muñiz; September 16, 1968) is an American & Latin Grammy award-winning singer/songwriter, actor and producer. According to the Guinness Book of World Records, Marc Anthony is the top selling tropical salsa artist of all time. The five-time Grammy winner has sold more than 10 million albums worldwide. He is best known for his Latin salsa numbers and ballads. Marc Anthony was the first solo salsa act to ever sell out Madison Square Garden.

Marc is considered a melodramatic performer, often acting out his songs, physically accentuating key musical breaks and words with hand pumps, kicks and dances, shouting out patented key phrases (such as "Joma", "Jojomaaa" [1], "Chi-chi", a raspy "wow" and "Boricua"), holding notes for extended periods of time and playing conductor to his band's music.

Do to circumstances way beyond my control, I was unable to make it to foxwoods or Dancing with the stars. I was able to make it to MSG, great show. Hopefully you will attend the Latin billoards. I attend the whole conference every year. I hope u do the Q+A, that would be awesome. I'm moving down to Orlando, so there is nobody to stop me from going like the night of the Foxwood show. I'm still ur biggest fan and will support u always with all my heart. Sincerely, Lisa

Ok, this is just, I dont know, but I couldn"t be happier. onee day or so after I commented about getting tix for Dancing with the stars in my comment below, I hear Marc is preparing a show the the MGM in conn. the very same day. Marc, u take priority, always have, always wil. Have sold my Dancing tix and have second row center for Jan 24th. It really crazy happy. I know its just coincidental and I couldnt be feeling better. This is where I feel a connection. I've been in Orlando for a few months now, its been unusually cold, been feeling down. What cheers me up the most is a concert. I go to ticketmaster and all I could find was Dancing with the stars and of course I got tix. But I kept thinking about Marc and how short this last tour was and kept thinking to myself, he must miss the stage, he has too, this last tour was way too short. Started thinking, Come on Marc, give us a christmas show, something. The next day, I go to the fanclub and sure enough, there is the annnouncement, doing a Valentines show at msg. Coincidental, I'm sure. But I can't get the kool aid smile off my face. hehe...Thanks Marc, feeling so much better. see ya soon.

I've been following Marc Anthony from the beginning of his career. I also grew-up in the same neighborhood, he was East side, I was West side, no more than 20 blocks apart. We went to the same clubs, I know I've seen him around the neighboorhood back in the day.We grew-up the same way, that alone makes me feel close to him. I've also been to every single concert his has done since 2000, I feel like his good luck charm. I hope one day to see him in South America, its so hard to get tix, and when traveling so far, u need good tix, but one day u will see me there Marc. I will always be there to see u and support u. Love always, ur biggest fan, Lisa
