Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List is a
reality show starring
Kathy Griffin and airing on
Bravo. The show made its debut in August
2005. The show follows the struggle of self-proclaimed "D-list" celebrity Kathy Griffin to climb the
Hollywood ladder. This often includes scheming for publicity with staffers
Jessica, Tiffany and Tom. Her relationships with her parents and her husband (from whom she is now divorced) have also been heavily featured. The first season of the show was nominated for a 2006
Emmy Award in the category "Outstanding Reality Program." The second and third seasons were likewise nominated, in 2007 and 2008 respectively, and won both times.
The third season premiered in 2007 with the highest ratings for the show, with approximately one million viewers. The fourth season in 2008 was the first expanded season, with ten episodes.
