Joshua L. Barnett (born November 10, 1977, in Seattle, Washington) is an American heavyweight mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter and a professional wrestler. He has an MMA record of 24–5–0, with three of those five losses coming vs Mirko "Crocop" Filipović.
Barnett has been a heavyweight world champion in mixed martial arts, winning the UFC heavyweight title and the open-weight King of Pancrase title. He also was a finalist in the PrideFC open-weight Grand Prix 2006. A graduate of Ballard High School in Seattle, Washington, Barnett became the youngest (UFC) Heavyweight Champion and the youngest UFC champion in history after defeating Randy Couture in early 2002.
