Joshua L. Barnett (born November 10, 1977, in
Seattle, Washington) is an American heavyweight
mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter and a
professional wrestler. He has an MMA record of 24–5–0, with three of those five losses coming vs
Mirko "Crocop" Filipović.
Barnett has been a heavyweight world champion in
mixed martial arts, winning the
UFC heavyweight title and the open-weight King of Pancrase title. He also was a finalist in the PrideFC open-weight Grand Prix 2006. He is the only person in MMA history to test positive for anabolic steroids three times.

Ballard High School in
Seattle, Washington, Barnett became the youngest (UFC) Heavyweight Champion and the youngest UFC champion in history after defeating
Randy Couture in early 2002. Later that year, the title was stripped from Barnett after having tested positive for three
anabolic agents;
Boldenone metabolite,
Fluoxymesterone metabolite and
Nandrolone metabolite.
