actor
.
Biography
Wood was born in
Derbyshire
and studied at
Jesus College, Oxford
. Known as a stage actor, he has played extensively in
Shakespeare
, having joined the
Royal Shakespeare Company
in the 1970s. He has also appeared in many of
Tom Stoppard
's plays. Wood also has a wide-ranging cinema career, which includes significant roles in
WarGames

Ladyhawke

Ian McKellen

Richard III
