Summary
Drake Parker (
Drake Bell) and Josh Nichols (
Josh Peck) are two teen stepbrothers that live in
San Diego, California, when Drake's mother, Audrey Parker (
Nancy Sullivan), and Josh's father, Walter Nichols (
Jonathan Goldstein), are married. Drake is a relaxed, simple, lucky, lazy, popular and attractive teenager that plays the guitar and easily relates to girls, while Josh is a diligent teenager, but is an unlucky and a sarcastic one, who is constantly bothered by the malicious behavior of Drake. Both brothers are often tortured by their evil little sister, Megan Parker (
Miranda Cosgrove), who often plays pranks on them and is seemingly never caught or punished by their parents. Josh's father, Walter, is an outdated
meteorologist, who can be described as unlucky and clumsy, and Audrey, Drake and Megan's mother, is stricter than Walter. Throughout the series, Drake and Josh go through many conflicts, mishaps and misfortunes. The conflicts are mainly social, often dealing with the relationship between the two brothers, while other issues relate to school, work, and their evil sister Megan.
