Daniel Leroy Baldwin (born October 5, 1960) is an American
actor,
producer and
director. He is the second oldest of the four
Baldwin brothers, all of whom are actors.
Early life
Baldwin was born in
Massapequa, New York, the son of Carol Newcomb (
née Martineau), a
breast cancer survivor who founded the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Care Center of the University Hospital and Medical Center at Stony Brook, and Alexander Rae Baldwin, Jr., a
high school history/social studies teacher and
football coach.

Baldwin was a standout high school football player and graduated in 1979 from
Alfred G. Berner High School in Massapequa, NY. He also attended McKenna Junior High School.
