Carl Sturken and Evan Rogers are New York-based songwriters and music producers who are business partners and friends. They have produced hits for Ruben Studdard, Wild Orchid, Christina Aguilera, and Rihanna's debut album. They helped build the career of Rihanna, and are the principles of her production company, SRP.


Evan Rogers and Carl Sturken had been writing and producing since the mid '80s, with artists such as Cheryl Lynn and Brother Beyond. Their breakthrough came in 1989 when they wrote and produced Donny Osmond's comeback single "Soldier Of Love", which reached number 2 in the US Billboard charts.
