Paul Andrew "Andy" Richter (born October 28, 1966) is an American actor, writer and comedian. He is best known for his sidekick role on Late Night with Conan O'Brien between 1993 and 2000. Early life and career

Richter, the second of four children, was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan. His mother, Glenda Swanson, was a kitchen cabinet designer, and his father, Laurence R.
